Before leaving Cornwall, DH and I made our way to Lands End. It was a very, very cold day and there was even some rain... Brrr, but we wouldn't have wanted to miss it!
We got so cold from walking around that we had to get a cup of hot tea to help thaw out!
Neither of us took any photos of the commercialism of this beautiful and remote area...but it is all well back from the cliffs and near the carpark so it can't spoil the beauty. There are shops and fun fair type attractions but there weren't any takers that cold day we were there.
I had noticed a sign near Lands End with Minack Theatre on it. I wondered if it was anything to do with the writer Derek Tangye who wrote a number of books including one called the Minack Chronicles. So we set out for this Minack Openair Theatre. It turned out to be nothing to do with the author but it was a beautiful area to visit...
Thinking I was walking where Derek Tangye had trod...I walked along the cliff paths, lol.
Another lovely day of exploring.
