Thank you once again to Cheryll for hosting this event.
Last night I shared the lounge room with DH, and DsD1's partner Dan...the boys watched 2 football games, with all the accompanying shouting at the TV, and I joined knitted squares to make another blanket for K4BN.
I had bought some 'eyelash' type yarn which was on special for 99c per ball in Lincraft, and I used this to crochet the donated squares together. This is the second blanket I've made this week using this 'fluffy' yarn. It helps hide the slightly uneven side edges on some of the squares. (Susan your lovely squares which are not in this blanket have no uneven sides)

So 30 squares have become 1 blanket. Some weaving in of ends and it will be all finished.

Beautiful blanket!
What a marvelous idea to use eyelash yarn. This could start a trend.
Beautiful blanket! Great way to join the blocks together.
Great way to enjoy the footy.. The blanket looks great with the eyelash wool....
Hello Maria,
Someone will love snuggling up in that blanket. Two games of footy! I would go mad.
Happy Easter
Bev.
Gorgeous blanket x
lovely
The fuzzy strips make it look extra warm and comforting. I'm sure someone will love it.
Cosy beautiful blanket Maria. Love that eyelash yarn, never heard that expression before.
Phew - I'm glad I passed the "sides" test...
Why do men yell at the TV during footy matches...
Great job Maria. That blanket looks so soft and cuddly. The eyelash yarn makes it look a bit like a 'rag' quilt.. always wanted to make one of those. Have fun...xxx
