Since I discovered Fantazia Fabricland, no trip to the Gold Coast is complete without a detour to South Tweed. And so it was that last Monday, my friend Mary and I just happened to be in the vicinity of this fabrics/haberdashery warehouse...and we went in for a look around... :-)
We went into the doorway on the left as I wanted to look at the patchwork fabrics...in particular I wanted to see what fabric packs they had...some of these coordinated fabrics packs made wonderful Christmas gifts last year...
And I was not disappointed by the range this time either...the hardest part was not picking up everyone I liked! lol
Then I noticed a lovely striped fabric which I thought could be handy for bindings...
Then my friend and I went into the other section of Fantazia as she was just checking out dressmaking fabrics...which she wasn't going to buy...but did! lol
And no wonder...look at just a small section that a customer has to choose from...
In this section I fell in love with some seersucker tablecloth fabric ...so I bought some...
The back...

I bought enough to make a tablecloth to cover our big table on the side veranda. |
While I was waiting in the queue I noticed these...
So one came home with me...
Now the Giveaway...this pack of very bright quilting cottons (lots of green and gold) from Fantazia...
If you would like to win this pack just leave a comment. Now I'm aware that if you are not a blogger, it can sometimes be difficult to leave a comment. In that case, use the email button on my profile page to send me a message that you would like to be included in the draw.
Giveaway closes on Sunday January 26 (Australia Day!) at 6 pm Australian Eastern Standard Time. Good luck!
And tonight I will be joining others from all around the globe who have signed up for FNSI...
Should be fun!

What a lovely give a way.
I haven't seen seersucker for many years and certainly nothing that bright. It would brighten up any room.
I don't sew Maria, but I do admire those who can! cheers Wendy
Now that definitely looks like somewhere to put on the list to visit if I ever get back to that part of the country!
I love going there too - but too many temptations.
Lovely of you to have a giveaway and I have just the project for those brights!!
(fingers are now crossed)
I haven't been there for a couple of years (not sure if I can remember how to get there anymore) but it looks much 'tidier' than when I was there last! Great fabrics!

Such bright colors - would be great for a child's quilt. :)
It's always hard to walk out of Fantazia without a purchase or two. It's my "local", but you found some things I've not noticed in there Maria...mind you, mine are usually flying visits on the way to somewhere else. A bright and generous giveaway too.
Wow such beautiful bright colours. What a greqt giveaway
Hi Maria! I would think I'd gone to Heaven in that place. It reminds me of Mary Jo's here in North Caroline - I so want to go up there for my birthday in March. It's so nice of you to have this Give-a-way!
Looks like a great place to shop. Thanks for this great giveaway.
