Initial Heart Swap...

Dropping in for the Grow Your Own Blog Party? You will find that post here. Would you like the chance to win a tote bag from the California Design Exhibition shop? You will find that Giveaway here.

Yesterday I got a parcel in the mail all the way from Western Australia! It was from Carol who it turns out, was my swap buddy in the Valentine's Day Swap organised by Cheryll.
Once again I've been thoroughly spoiled by a swap partner...

A beautiful little owl cushion with a 'bling' M...love it!!
And in that photo you can see that Miss Owl is sitting on a box of chocolates...
Sorry that the next photo does not do justice to a sweet little heart shaped scissor 'keeper' which features some pretty beading on the chain...

Carol also included this beautiful  heart shaped mobile/wind chimes which make the most delightful soft tinkling noise when the breeze blows...

In the parcel was also a a shallow box and inside were these items...

On opening up I found the most amazing selection of 'post it' notes...all occasions covered

Close up of the sticky notes...

And a closeup of these very swish clips/page markers.

And also in the box was a journal type book...which I shall use to record sewing projects...pattern used, cottons etc and any problems encountered and how I solved them. I have a similar book for knitting projects (throws and rugs) which I find invaluable when I want to  do a project again after a bit of a break...because I do forget details and it's such a nuisance trying to work out how many stitches to cast on etc to get the appropriate width etc.

Many thanks Carol for your lovely thoughtful gifts. Thank you also to Cheryll for once again organising this popular swap!
