Wool on Sunday

So another Wool on Sunday comes around; the months go quickly! Lol
Linking with Janine over at the Rainbow Hare blog https://rainbowhare.com/ where this month Janine has written about the beautiful clothes she made for a doll. Ellen was definitely dressed for that northern hemisphere weather! 😉
My ‘yarny’ post this month is all about knitting. Firstly  for  GD #1’s third birthday, she wanted a pink theme for the party. So I decided to make her gifts pink themed too. I had bought a book called The Pink Hat...

And I’d been wanting to have a go at knitting a swirl beanie that a friend in K4BN had been making. So not the same beanie as in the book...

Yesterday was the party and Miss A loved her beanie and book and despite our hot weather, wore the beanie straight away!

Grandpa asked us to look up and smile.

Miss A likes the idea of being a ballerina just like Emma Wiggle  so I made her a bag for her gifts using an off cut of Angelina Ballerina fabric that I had. ( cause Miss A also loves bags!!)

(Adapted from a Gail Pan pattern)
And my main project this last month or so, and still ongoing, is the baby blankie for GD #5. It’s nearly finished!

And that’s it for my post this month for Wool on Sunday.
