Decisions, decisions, decisions!!!

DH bought me a new IPad Air for Christmas and DD1 has now got my IPad 2. It really surprised me that someone who has the latest iPhone, would want a 4 year old iPad but she asked if she could have it. As she is my IT 'fix it' girl, how could I refuse? Anyone who deals with the Apple Support line on my behalf can have my old stuff any time if she wants! Lol

In typical 'First World Problem' fashion, I found that the old case didn't fit my new gadget and DD1 didn't want it...

Such a shame but it looked like I would have to find a new one to buy...a few times I have been very grateful that I had a hard case on the iPad as it saved it from being damaged.
But I had discovered that I like covers that are a bit different and even though DH and I did the rounds of local shops, I found nothing I liked. The interesting ones were always for other tablets not the Air.
My previous case came from the Aussie company MOZI, so I checked that site ...nothing. Then I went to the Red Bubble site but the cases were all for minis. Just when I thought I'd have to buy a plain one, I thought of Etsy...it wasn't long before I had put a number of designs in my Favourites.
All of these designs are made in Sydney...I love the flowers, but I also loved the quirky ones.

You won't believe this...but then I couldn't make up my mind which one!! Finally, just after New Year's Day, I put in my order after lots of dithering/procrastination/agonising/changing of my mind...which do you think I chose? It was posted last week so it might even arrive today!

Day 5 Giveaway...

So now we come to the last Giveaway in the series to celebrate 1000 blog posts.
And again I'm going to introduce another Aussie artist who creates beautiful art works and photos. So, you have 'met' Gerhard from Far North Queensland and today I would like to introduce Susan, who lives in a particularly beautiful area in southern Victoria.
Susan has a lovely blog and so many of her posts showcase the beautiful photos that she takes of the countryside around her home; photos of scenes, flowers and wildlife.
Her latest  post features some amazing close ups of a bird feasting on the nectar in some blossoms...

And Susan also paints. Her paintings of flowers are exquisite. Occasionally on her blog, Susan will share with readers, the progress of the latest paintings, and the process of creating a new piece. I noticed in the New Year that Susan had joined Red Bubble, so this I had to check out. It would have to be something creative I had decided...and it was! It's described as a 'Global Marketplace for Independent Artists'...
'Welcome to Redbubble, a free marketplace that helps thousands of artists reach new audiences and sell their work more easily. RB gives you access to a wide range of high quality products, just waiting for your designs to make them more amazing. We coordinate everything from printing and shipping through to ongoing customer service, giving you more time to focus on creating great art and design (and occasionally watching cat videos on the internet).'
Susan had quite a selection of items for sale, and I thought of my Giveaways coming up, so I had fun picking out some Cards...
These 2 are the ones I'm offering as today's Giveaway.

Chamomile Fancies on the left, and Flamboyant Poinciana on the right. These beautifully printed cards are blank leaving plenty of room for writing messages.
Susan's Red Bubble shop is here...

Maybe have a look at some of her lovely designs?
The 5 Giveaway posts will remain open for comments until next Monday January 19. Good luck :-)
