I will be away for both of these occasions so on Saturday, DD1 and DD2 took me out to lunch to celebrate just that bit earlier.
I discourage my girls from giving me presents for both my birthday and Mother's Day as it was getting out of hand with 2 lots of gifts so close together...some years both celebrations are on the one day! I just love being taken out...that's enough! I did get a lovely scarf which had been knitted by DD1's housemate which was in my colours! DD2 and Jimmy (the dog) gave me some framed photos of Jimmy and I, plus an apron and shawl from her recent trip to Thailand...oh and a domestic goddess keyring :-) lol

And this is my crepe...Farmhouse Crepe, with chicken and mushrooms in bechamel sauce...it was yummy!
Miss DD2 ordered toast with her meal as it was her breakfast as well as lunch,lol!
I am hopeless at holding up a mobile phone and taking a photo of myself...luckily all the girls can manage it and DD2 took this one of us before we headed for home.
