DH and I breakfasted on pancakes on Shrove Tuesday...yes, I remembered! Lol
And of course Lent started the next day. A friend wrote on Facebook, asking what she should ' give up for Lent'? I suggested she give up worrying...😉
Then I saw this meme!
Regular readers would know my fondness for decluttering...so I'm doing my own version of this. I may not get to 40 bags but any bag that gets filled and leaves our home, is a bonus. Tally so far is 11.
Pancakes look yummy... I missed out this year but hope to remember next time...
ReplyDeleteOh what a great thing to give up for Lent, also like your suggestion of WORRYING...
Wow....you have taken Lent seriously. =) That is a lot of bags of "clutter".
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea!!

Your pancakes look delicious! We were traveling that day so missed out unfortunately. Good luck with your decluttering. xx
ReplyDeleteYour house will be pretty empty if you remove 40 bags of items! It's amazing how things accumulate. Hope you enjoyed your pancakes. I don't know that Lent tradition.
ReplyDeleteThink I may have to jump onto this. Although I have started decluttering this year already
ReplyDeleteOnly problem is. My son and daughter in law have moved in. So now I have even more clutter!
At least when they fine a new home and move lots will go back out with them lol
Lent's not part of my tradition. In fact I was over 40 before I met people who gave up things for Lent! Giving up clutter sounds practical.
ReplyDeleteYum! Good work on your decluttering and Lent.
ReplyDeleteGreat project for Lent. You are doing wonderfully well.
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
Decluttering can be so energizing and so useful too. One person's trash can definitely be another's treasures.🎊
ReplyDeleteI've never been a fan of pancakes but I remember them on Shrove Tuesday when I was a kid.😄
Just use smaller bags and you will get to 40 easily!! LOL - yes I guess that is cheating...
