Not long now...
A very recent photo of DsD2...38 weeks!
She has now finished work. And of course the Baby Shower was two Sundays ago.
I had planned other gifts for the new parents but when I discussed my plans with DH, he thought what I suggested was a bit odd/daft etc. But when I spoke to the young couple, telling them what I planned, they were very agreeable!
I think those vouchers are a great idea Maria. I'm sure they will be greatly appreciated. When I had Mitchell, my SIL and BIL gave us 6 weeks of nappy wash (yes, I used clothe nappies!) which was wonderful.
what a good idea to help out the new \Mum I know she will really appreciate you helping with these chores. At least it is summer for you and washing will dry quickly unlike here where it seem to hang around on maidens for days and in the end I have to give in and put the heating on!
Ooohh exciting time soon. I think your IOU gifts are very thoughtful and I'm sure will be most appreciated. Do they know if it's a boy or a girl? I bet you won't be able to help yourself and will be making some tiny little items soon. Xox
what a great idea, love it. Maria my blog is infected by a virus, It can' t be saved, I will take it of as soon as possible and start a new one. so don't visit Jaana
That is a wonderful gift for a mama and papa-to-be and they don't even know how much they will appreciate those services until the baby comes and they have time for nothing else. You must be so excited!
