Some photos from BB (before blogging)

I mentioned in the last post that DH and I had joined family and friends at a Trivia Night and poor DH got more than he bargained for with a bout of suspected food poisoning! So that was the bad news, but the good news is that our team came second. Some more bad news is that the prize is a voucher for the team to to use for meals at the club...hmmmm.

The man who runs the Trivia Night is Duncan who comes from Burnley in the UK...he and DH trade jokes the whole evening...kindred spirits. We found out that he runs a company called Del Boi Enterprises, so we asked him whether it referred to Del Boy from Only Fools and Horses. He said yes as his former wife always reckoned he looked like David Jason, so he thought it would be perfect as a business name.

On the way home after Trivia I mentioned to DH that when we visited Madame Tussaud's London, in 2008, David Jason was one of the wax figures on display. DH found the photo yesterday...

So today I checked out the files stored on the external hard drive and found the other photos we took that day...

And here we have Patsy, Robin Williams, Michael Caine, Shrek and Sean Connery...

In 2008 I emailed the photo of myself and Shrek to my class, so they could be impressed with what their teacher was doing while on long service leave! Lol.
