And again I'm going to introduce another Aussie artist who creates beautiful art works and photos. So, you have 'met' Gerhard from Far North Queensland and today I would like to introduce Susan, who lives in a particularly beautiful area in southern Victoria.
Susan has a lovely blog and so many of her posts showcase the beautiful photos that she takes of the countryside around her home; photos of scenes, flowers and wildlife.
Her latest post features some amazing close ups of a bird feasting on the nectar in some blossoms...

And Susan also paints. Her paintings of flowers are exquisite. Occasionally on her blog, Susan will share with readers, the progress of the latest paintings, and the process of creating a new piece. I noticed in the New Year that Susan had joined Red Bubble, so this I had to check out. It would have to be something creative I had decided...and it was! It's described as a 'Global Marketplace for Independent Artists'...
'Welcome to Redbubble, a free marketplace that helps thousands of artists reach new audiences and sell their work more easily. RB gives you access to a wide range of high quality products, just waiting for your designs to make them more amazing. We coordinate everything from printing and shipping through to ongoing customer service, giving you more time to focus on creating great art and design (and occasionally watching cat videos on the internet).'
Susan had quite a selection of items for sale, and I thought of my Giveaways coming up, so I had fun picking out some Cards...
These 2 are the ones I'm offering as today's Giveaway.
Chamomile Fancies on the left, and Flamboyant Poinciana on the right. These beautifully printed cards are blank leaving plenty of room for writing messages.
Susan's Red Bubble shop is here...

ReplyDeleteHi Maria. Lovely cards and thank you for the link. I'll be checking on it when I get back in half an hour. It's 5.30am and after that hot 35 degree day yesterday I'm going to take a walk by the river before the sun really comes up. Had my cup of tea and now just gotta put on my old runners ……
ReplyDeleteI'm a newcomer to your blog (thanks to Susan), and look forward to reading more. I am the Sandy that Susan referred to in "Sandy's favourite poinciana" featured on one of the cards but must say I think her painting is much more artist than my photo was. So impressed was I that I went to Red Bubble and bought it in a cushion cover.
ReplyDeleteHi I came over from Susan. She does great art doesn't she. Congrats on your 1000 post.
