DsD2 is getting married in early May and this weekend has been a busy weekend for her. Since Friday evening there has been one Hen's party celebration after another. I was invited to today's little soiree... a high tea held in the middle of the day. Here's some of the shenanigans...
This activity started with these being thrown on the floor...
Those present were divided into 2 teams and 2 volunteers were found...
ha ha! the teams had to dress the 2 volunteers in a wedding gown...made out of toilet paper :-)
Both bodices were soon completed...
DsD3 who was one of the volunteers gets a hug from DsD2, the bride to be...
DsD1 is in the pink and is working on the skirt...

Dress just about finished here...maybe a veil??? |
The 'bride' in the other team is all dressed , including headdress, bouquet and decorated bridal thongs flip flops...heh hehe
|
Both 'brides' enjoy a celebratory drink while they pose for photos... |
|
A photo of the bride to be, plus her sister and her mum! |
|
One of the bride's friends who organised the games... |
|
In the background, another one of my SILs helping with the drying up at the sink... |
There's a little while before the nuptials...May 4 in Wanaka, New Zealand.
What a fun way to spend a Sunday, best wishes to the Bride and Groom.
ReplyDeleteLooks like the girls had fun! A stunning creation!
ReplyDeleteHope it doesn't rain if the bride decides to wear this new creation on the big day. Haha! Looks like a fun afternoon. Sue
ReplyDeleteWhat a great day to get married, my mother thought so and so did I.
